Biography
George Dzundza is an American actor. Born on 19 July 1945 in Rosenheim, Germany, he moved to the United States in 1956. He attended St. John's University and studied theatre with Stella Adler and Harold Clurman.
Dzundza appeared in films including The Deer Hunter (1978), No Way Out (1987), Basic Instinct (1992) as Gus, Crimson Tide (1995) and Dangerous Minds (1995). Television credits include Sergeant Max Greevey in the first season of Law & Order (1990–1991) and Harold O'Malley in Grey's Anatomy (2005–2007). He has also provided voice work for animated series such as Batman: The Animated Series. He retired from acting in 2011.
