Biography
George Faber is a British television and film producer. Born George Stephen John Faber on 30 November 1959 in Kensington, London, he co-founded the independent production company Company Pictures with Charles Pattinson in 1998. He later established The Forge Entertainment in 2014.
Faber produced the film Morvern Callar (2002). His television credits as executive producer include Shameless (2004), Skins (2007), Generation Kill (2008), The White Queen (2013) and Collateral (2018). Company Pictures won Best Independent Production Company at the Broadcast Awards twice under his leadership.
He has received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Miniseries for Elizabeth I (2005).
