Biography
Heather Jeng Bladt is a television writer. A third-generation Chinese American, she grew up in Orange County, California, and received a BFA in Writing for Screen and Television from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinema-Television.
She worked as showrunner’s assistant to Matthew Weiner on the final three seasons of Mad Men and wrote one episode of the series. She later served as a writers’ assistant and staff writer on Orange Is the New Black, contributing episodes to its sixth and seventh seasons. Her other credits include The Mysterious Benedict Society (2021), Social Distance (2020) and Black Cake (2023), on which she also worked as supervising producer.
