Biography
Ian Gooding is a production designer and art director at Walt Disney Animation Studios. He joined the studio in 1990 as an effects in-betweener on the short film The Prince and the Pauper and later moved into visual development and art direction.
Gooding’s credits as art director include Chicken Little (2005), The Princess and the Frog (2009) and co-art director on Wreck-It Ralph (2012). He served as production designer on Moana (2016), Encanto (2021) and Moana 2 (2024). He was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica.
