Biography
Jack Gilpin, also credited as John Mitchell Gilpin, is an American actor. Born on 31 May 1951 in Boyce, Virginia, he graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy in 1969 and Harvard University in 1973, and studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City.
He has appeared in films including Reversal of Fortune (1990), Quiz Show (1994), 21 (2008) and Adventureland (2009), and in television series such as the Law & Order franchise and Succession (2018). Gilpin is also an ordained Episcopal priest and the father of actress Betty Gilpin.
