Biography
James Seymour (1895–1976) was an American screenwriter, dialogue director and occasional producer. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he began working in Hollywood in the late 1920s.
He received screenplay credits on several Warner Bros. musicals, including 42nd Street (1933, with Rian James), Gold Diggers of 1933 (1933) and Footlight Parade (1933). Later credits include The Saint Meets the Tiger (1941) and several British films of the 1940s. He was married to actress Jocelyn Lee.
