Biography

Janus Billeskov Jansen is a Danish film editor. He was born on 25 November 1951 in Frederiksberg, Denmark, and has worked in the industry since the 1970s on feature films, documentaries and short films.

He has edited numerous films directed by Bille August, including Pelle the Conqueror (1987) and The Best Intentions (1992). Other credits include The Hunt (2012) and Another Round (2020), both directed by Thomas Vinterberg, as well as the documentaries The Act of Killing (2012) and Flee (2021).

Jansen has received an honorary Bodil Award for his contributions to Danish film and has won multiple Robert Awards for best editing.
