Biography
Jaron Presant is a cinematographer and member of the American Society of Cinematographers. He graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television and began his career working with cinematographer Tom Richmond while still in high school.
Presant has maintained a long collaboration with director Rian Johnson, starting as gaffer on Brick (2006) before taking on second-unit duties on films including The Brothers Bloom (2008), Looper (2012), San Andreas (2015) and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022). He served as director of photography on Hours (2013), Rampage (2018) and Don't Make Me Go (2022), and on television series such as Daybreak (2019), Mr. Corman (2021) and Poker Face (2023–2025), for which he shot multiple episodes.
