Biography
Jason Clarke is an Australian actor. Born on 17 July 1969 in Winton, Queensland, he trained at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, graduating in 1994. He began his career in Australian television series including Murder Call, Blue Heelers and Stingers before appearing in international productions.
Clarke is known for film roles including George Wilson in The Great Gatsby (2013), Malcolm in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), Rob Hall in Everest (2015), Dan in Zero Dark Thirty (2012) and Ed White in First Man (2018). He played Roger Robb in Oppenheimer (2023) and Admiral Mark Miller in A House of Dynamite (2025). On television he has portrayed Tommy Caffee in Brotherhood and Jerry West in Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (2022–2023).
