Biography
Jeph Loeb, also credited as Joseph Loeb III, is an American writer and producer working in film, television and comics. Born on 29 January 1958 in Stamford, Connecticut, he studied film at Columbia University.
His television credits include supervising producer on Smallville (2001) and Lost (2004), and writer and co-executive producer on Heroes (2006). From 2010 to 2019 he served as Executive Vice President and head of Marvel Television, overseeing series including Marvel's Daredevil (2015), Marvel's Jessica Jones (2015) and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013).
Loeb has received four Eisner Awards and five Wizard Fan Awards for his comic book work, much of it created in collaboration with artist Tim Sale.
