Biography
Jerskin Fendrix, whose real name is Joscelin Dent-Pooley, is an English composer and musician. He is best known for composing the original scores for three films directed by Yorgos Lanthimos: Poor Things (2023), Kinds of Kindness (2024) and Bugonia (2025).
Fendrix studied classical music at Cambridge University after attending Adams' Grammar School. He released his debut solo album Winterreise in 2020. Lanthimos commissioned him to write the score for Poor Things after hearing the album; it was Fendrix's first film score.
He received Academy Award nominations for Best Original Score for Poor Things and Bugonia. In 2024 he signed an exclusive publishing agreement with Universal Music Publishing Group.
