Biography
Jesse Alexander is an American television writer and producer. Originally from Santa Barbara, California, he attended Sarah Lawrence College and the AFI Conservatory. He began collaborating with J. J. Abrams, a friend from Sarah Lawrence, on projects including Alias (2001), where he served as executive producer and writer across its five seasons.
Alexander was co-executive producer and writer on the first three seasons of Heroes (2006). He worked as staff writer and producer on Hannibal (2013). His other credits include co-executive producer on the first season of Lost (2004), for which he shared a Primetime Emmy Award, showrunner on the second season of American Gods (2017), and contributions to Star Trek: Discovery (2017). He also wrote the screenplay for the film Eight Legged Freaks (2002).
