Biography
Jill Taylor is a British costume designer. Born in 1957 in Elswick, Newcastle, she studied fashion at Northumbria University before beginning her career in television, working as a costume assistant at the BBC.
She has designed costumes for numerous British and American films since the mid-1990s, including The Full Monty (1997), Sliding Doors (1998), Johnny English (2003), Match Point (2005), My Week with Marilyn (2011), Me Before You (2016), The Commuter (2018), Infinite (2021), Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023) and Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning (2025).
Taylor won a Costume Designers Guild Award for The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2005) and received an Emmy nomination for the same project. She has been nominated twice for a BAFTA for Best Costume Design.
