Biography

John Carnochan is an American film editor. He began his career as an assistant editor on live-action projects in the early 1980s, including The Stunt Man (1980) and Silent Rage (1982).

Carnochan is known for his work on animated features. He edited Beauty and the Beast (1991) and served as supervising film editor on The Little Mermaid (1989) and The Lion King (1994). He later edited Ice Age (2002), Robots (2005), The Simpsons Movie (2007) and Arthur Christmas (2011).
