Biography
John F. Showalter, also credited as John Showalter, is an American television director, editor and producer. His career began in the 1980s as an editor on series including Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
He has directed episodes of House (2006), Ghost Whisperer, Criminal Minds, Without a Trace, Supernatural (26 episodes, 2010–2020), The Mentalist, The 100 (2014–2017), The Flash (2015–2016), Arrow, Supergirl and DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Showalter has also worked as a producer and co-executive producer on Supernatural and as a producing director on The Winchesters (2022–2023).
