Biography
John Rice is an American animation director and story artist. Born on 5 May 1970 in Peoria, Illinois, he studied at the Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles.
He began working in animation in the late 1980s and has directed episodes of King of the Hill (1997–), Rick and Morty (2013–2014), Bob's Burgers (2011) and other series. Rice co-directed The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019) and directed Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe (2022). He has also contributed storyboards and character designs to films including The Simpsons Movie (2007) and The Angry Birds Movie (2016).
