Biography

John Wilson-Apperson was a British costume and wardrobe supervisor. He worked on numerous British and international films from the 1950s to the 1970s, often in supervisory roles for historical and epic productions.

His credits include wardrobe on The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957), wardrobe on Lawrence of Arabia (1962), wardrobe supervisor on Oliver! (1968) and Battle of Britain (1969), and costume supervisor on Julia (1977). He died in 1988 in Richmond upon Thames, London.
