Biography
Jonathan Lucas is a film editor. He began his career as a production runner at Twickenham film studios in the United Kingdom before moving into editing roles.
A member of the Editors Guild since 1993, he worked as first assistant editor or associate editor on numerous features including Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002), The Fast and the Furious (2001), Troy (2004), Waterworld (1995) and Sommersby (1993). His first credit as lead editor was on the stop-motion animated film Corpse Bride (2005), directed by Tim Burton and Mike Johnson, on which he worked with Final Cut Pro.
Subsequent editing credits include Dirty Girl (2010) and Hide Away (2011). He has also appeared as an actor in a small number of productions.
