Biography

Joy Kecken, also credited as Joy Lusco and Joy Lusco Kecken, is an American television and film writer and director. She worked on the HBO series The Wire as a staff writer and script coordinator during its first season in 2002, later returning for the third season, and directed one episode.

She previously wrote episodes for Homicide: Life on the Street. Kecken has written for series including Marvel's Cloak & Dagger, Tales and Standoff, and served as a producer on Swagger, Kindred and Motherland: Fort Salem. She often collaborates with her husband, Scott Kecken, on projects including the documentary We Are Arabbers.
