Biography
K. Todd Freeman is an American actor. Born on 9 July 1965 in Houston, Texas, he trained at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 1987. He has been an ensemble member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago since 1993.
Freeman received Tony Award nominations for Best Actor in a Play for his performance in The Song of Jacob Zulu (1993) and for Best Featured Actor in a Play for Airline Highway (2015), for which he also won a Drama Desk Award. He has appeared in Broadway productions including One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Wicked.
His film credits include Eraser (1996), Grosse Pointe Blank (1997), The Cider House Rules (1999) and The Dark Knight (2008). On television he has appeared in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–1999) as Mr. Trick, A Series of Unfortunate Events (2017–2019) as Mr. Poe, and other series including The Blacklist and Elementary.
