Biography
Karen Wacker is a producer and production manager. Her credits include unit production manager on Watchmen (2019), Mare of Easttown (2021) and House of the Dragon (2022), and producer on the same three series.
She received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Limited Series as a producer on Watchmen (2020) and was nominated in the same category for Mare of Easttown (2021) and for Outstanding Drama Series for House of the Dragon (2023). Earlier credits include production supervisor on Bernie (2012) and assistant production coordinator on The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005).
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Wacker served as producer on Mare of Easttown, helping manage the resumption of filming in Philadelphia after a shutdown in 2020.
