Biography
Kate Dickie is a Scottish actress. She trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and began her career in theatre before moving into television and film.
She is known for her role as Jackie in the 2006 film Red Road, for which she won Best Actress awards at the BAFTA Scotland Awards and the British Independent Film Awards. Other notable screen roles include Lysa Arryn in the television series Game of Thrones (2011, 2014), Ford in Prometheus (2012), Katherine in The Witch (2015), and Moira Jacobson in the series Dept. Q (2025). She has also appeared in Filth (2013), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017), The Green Knight (2021), The Northman (2022) and Loki (2023).
Dickie supports the theatre company Solar Bear, which collaborates with deaf people.
