Biography

Kathryn Morris is an American actress. She was born on 28 January 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and grew up in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. She performed with her family gospel group The Morris Code as a child and later studied theatre, attending Northeastern Christian Junior College and Temple University.

Morris began her career with small film and television roles in the 1990s. She appeared in As Good as It Gets (1997) and gained notice for parts in films directed by Rod Lurie, including The Contender (2000). Steven Spielberg cast her in A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) and Minority Report (2002), in which she played Lara Clarke. She is best known for her lead role as Detective Lilly Rush in the CBS series Cold Case (2003–2010). Other credits include Mindhunters (2004), Paycheck (2003), Bone Tomahawk (2015) and The Dirt (2019).
