Biography
Kevin Tighe is an American actor. Born Jon Kevin Fishburn on 13 August 1944 in Los Angeles, he trained at the University of Southern California, where he received an MFA in acting, and served in the US Army before beginning his career in the late 1960s.
Tighe is best known for playing firefighter-paramedic Roy DeSoto on the NBC series Emergency! (1972–1977). He later appeared as Anthony Cooper on Lost (2005–2010) and in films including Road House (1989), What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993) and My Bloody Valentine (2009). In 2025 he played Roy More in One Battle After Another.
Tighe won a Genie Award for Best Supporting Actor for I Love a Man in Uniform (1994). He has worked extensively in theatre and on television, including guest roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
