Biography
Kimmy Gatewood is an American actress, director, writer and singer. Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, she attended Paint Branch High School.
She co-created the comedy group The Apple Sisters with Rebekka Johnson and Sarah Lowe. The World War II-themed musical trio formed in New York City in 2007 and received acclaim at the 2008 Montreal Just for Laughs festival before moving to Los Angeles.
Gatewood has acted in series including GLOW (2017–2019) as Stacey Beswick and Atypical (2018–2019) as Coach Crowley. Her directing credits include episodes of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2019), The Baby-Sitters Club (2020–2021) and Girls5eva (2021–2022).
