Biography
Leanne Best is an English actress born on 15 June 1979 in Liverpool. She trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
She is known for roles including the title character in The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death (2014), Min Sakul in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Celia Donnelly in Fortitude (2015), PC Jackie Brickford in Line of Duty series 3 (2016), Georgie Tartt in Ted Lasso (2020) and Lesley Williams in This City Is Ours (2025). She has also appeared in Black Mirror (2011) and Carnival Row (2019).
Best is the niece of Pete Best, the original drummer for the Beatles.
