Biography

Leesa Evans is an American costume designer whose credits include numerous feature films and television series. She served as costume designer on Bridesmaids (2011) and has worked on other comedies such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), Get Him to the Greek (2010), Trainwreck (2015) and Why Him? (2016).

Raised in Laguna Beach, California, Evans is the daughter of a couture designer whose work included wedding gowns. She worked with her mother before entering the film industry, where early credits include assistant costume designer on Clueless (1995). She has frequently collaborated with producer Judd Apatow and has also designed for series including Young Rock (2021–2023).

In 2017 Evans co-founded the Style Fund with Amy Schumer to provide free clothing and styling services to women in need. Her work on Bridesmaids earned a Costume Designers Guild Award nomination.
