Biography
Loren Dean is an American actor. Born Loren Dean Jovicic on 31 July 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada, he moved to Los Angeles as a child and later to New York to pursue acting. He won a Theatre World Award for his Off-Broadway debut in the 1989 play Amulets Against the Dragon Forces.
Dean made his film debut in Plain Clothes (1988) and gained attention with the title role in Billy Bathgate (1991). His credits include Apollo 13 (1995), Gattaca (1997) as Adult Anton Freeman, Space Cowboys (2000), Enemy of the State (1998), The Mule (2018) and Ad Astra (2019). On television he had a recurring role as Russ Brennan in Bones (2006–2008). He has been married to James Jovicic since 2008.
