Biography
Lucy Briers is an English actress. She was born on 19 August 1967 in Hammersmith, London, and is the daughter of actors Richard Briers and Ann Davies.
Briers attended St Paul's Girls' School and studied theatre and sculpture at Lancaster University before training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. She was a member of the National Youth Theatre.
Her television and film roles include Mary Bennet in the 1995 BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, Mrs Reynolds in Emma. (2020), and Dr Kerri Weaver in We Live in Time (2024). She has also appeared in House of the Dragon (2022), My Policeman (2022) and Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021), and has worked extensively in theatre.
