Biography
Marc Toberoff is an American attorney and producer specialising in copyright and entertainment litigation. He is the founding partner of Toberoff & Associates and has producer or executive producer credits on films including Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024), Predator: Badlands (2025), Prey (2022) and Fantasy Island (2020).
Toberoff attended McGill University and earned a J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1980. Shortly after graduating, he worked as an assistant to director Robert Altman. He has represented writers and creators' heirs in numerous high-profile copyright disputes and has been recognised by publications including Forbes, The Hollywood Reporter and Variety as one of the most influential intellectual property attorneys in the entertainment industry.
