Biography
Mark W. Mansbridge is an American art director and production designer. He began his career as a set designer after an apprenticeship programme at Universal Studios in 1966, where he remained for eight or nine years before working independently. His father, John B. Mansbridge, was a long-serving designer and head of the art department at Disney Studios.
Mansbridge’s early credits as art director include Smokey and the Bandit (1977). He served as production designer on Say Anything... (1989) and Bushwhacked (1995). He has frequently worked as supervising art director on large-scale productions, including The Matrix Reloaded (2003), TRON: Legacy (2010), Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) and Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014). His son, Brook Mansbridge, also works in film production.
