Biography
Martin Kenzie (29 April 1956 – 16 July 2012) was a British cinematographer and second unit director. Born in Cambridge, England, he began his career as a production runner before working in the camera department on films including The Shining (1980) as assistant camera.
He later served as director of photography on episodes of the television series Rome (2005) and Game of Thrones (2012), for which the season three premiere was dedicated to his memory. Kenzie was a member of the British Society of Cinematographers and received GBCT Operators Awards for his work on Hamlet (1996) and Band of Brothers (2001).
