Biography
Max Martini is an American actor. Born on 11 December 1969, he trained at the Neighbourhood Playhouse and Michael Howard Studios in New York, and holds a BFA in painting and sculpture from the School of Visual Arts.
His film credits include Willie in Contact (1997), Corporal Henderson in Saving Private Ryan (1998), Herc Hansen in Pacific Rim (2013), a SEAL commander in Captain Phillips (2013), and Jason Taylor in the Fifty Shades trilogy (2015–2018). On television he played Mack Gerhardt in the series The Unit and has appeared in The Mentalist and Criminal Minds. Martini has also directed and produced films, including Sgt. Will Gardner (2019).
