Biography
Max Winkler is an American film and television director and screenwriter. Born in Los Angeles on 18 August 1983, he is the son of actor Henry Winkler.
His feature directorial debut was Ceremony (2010). He has since directed the films Flower (2017) and Jungleland (2019). On television, his credits include episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013), New Girl (2011), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2015) and Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story (2026). He has directed multiple episodes for Ryan Murphy productions including American Horror Story (2011) and American Horror Stories (2021).
