Biography
Meta Louise Foldager Sørensen is a Danish film and television producer. She graduated with a master's degree in film and media science from the University of Copenhagen in 1999.
She founded her own company, Meta Film, in 2010 and co-founded SAM Productions in 2014 with screenwriters Søren Sveistrup and Adam Price to focus on television projects. Foldager Sørensen produced Lars von Trier's Antichrist (2009) and Melancholia (2011), and was a producer on Nikolaj Arcel's A Royal Affair (2012), which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. She has also produced Summer of '92 (2015) and served as executive producer on series including The Chestnut Man (2021) and Ragnarok (2020).
In 2004 she received the Natsværmerpris for emerging Danish filmmakers, and she shared the Nordic Council Film Prize for Antichrist in 2009.
