Biography

Michael Barnathan is an American film producer. He graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 1980 and is a partner at 1492 Pictures alongside Chris Columbus and Mark Radcliffe.

Barnathan produced The Help (2011), Night at the Museum (2006), Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009), Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010) and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013). He was executive producer on the first three Harry Potter films (2001–2004) and on Fantastic Four (2005) and its sequel (2007).
