Biography
Michael Hart was a British television director. Originally an actor, he completed the BBC's directors' training course in 1964.
He directed episodes of series including Compact (1964–1965), Softly Softly, The Newcomers, Thirty-Minute Theatre, Z-Cars, The Doctors, Owen, M.D. and more than 200 episodes of Crossroads (1972–1981). His only Doctor Who serial was The Space Pirates (1969). He died on 21 February 2012. His brother was the artist Tony Hart.
