Biography
Michael Jace is an American actor. He is best known for playing Officer Julien Lowe in the FX series The Shield (2002–2008). His other screen credits include small roles in Forrest Gump (1994), Boogie Nights (1997), Planet of the Apes (2001), The Replacements (2000), Gridiron Gang (2006) and State of Play (2009), as well as television appearances in The Mentalist and Southland.
Jace was born on 13 July 1962 in Paterson, New Jersey. In May 2014 he fatally shot his wife April at their home in Los Angeles. He was convicted of second-degree murder in 2016 and sentenced to 40 years to life in prison.
