Biography
Michael Weaver is an American cinematographer and television director. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he began working in the camera department in the 1980s and served as director of photography on the series Malcolm in the Middle (2000–2006, credited as Mike Weaver). He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) since 2011.
Weaver has directed episodes of series including Californication (2007), The Mindy Project (2012), Masters of Sex (2013), Good Girls (2018), Little Fires Everywhere (2020), Star Trek: Picard (2020) and One of Us Is Lying (2021). He won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Half-Hour Series for his work on Californication.
