Biography
Mitchell Burgess is an American television writer and producer. He wrote 22 episodes of the HBO series The Sopranos (1999–2007) and served as an executive producer on the show.
He frequently collaborated with his wife, Robin Green, whom he met while studying at the University of Iowa. Together they co-created the CBS series Blue Bloods (2010), on which Burgess also worked as a writer and executive producer. His other writing credits include episodes of Northern Exposure (1990), Party of Five (1994), American Gothic (1995) and Southland (2009).
Burgess has received three Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on The Sopranos.
