Biography
Miyako Bellizzi is an American costume designer. Born in San Francisco in 1988 and raised in Alameda, she is based in Brooklyn.
She has worked extensively with directors Josh and Benny Safdie. Bellizzi was costume designer on their films Good Time (2017) and Uncut Gems (2019), and later on Next Goal Wins (2023) and Marty Supreme (2025). The latter earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Costume Design.
Her other credits include Patti Cake$ (2017), Scenes from a Marriage (2021), The History of Sound (2025) and Bonjour Tristesse (2025). She began her career as a fashion stylist.
