Biography
Naomi Sarah Ackie is an English actress. She was born on 22 August 1991 in Walthamstow, London. She trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 2012.
Ackie’s breakthrough came with the film Lady Macbeth (2016). She appeared in The End of the F*ing World (2019), for which she won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actress, and in Master of None (2021). Her other film roles include Jannah in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019), Whitney Houston in Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody (2022), Frida in Blink Twice (2024), Nasha in Mickey 17 (2025), and Donna De Freitas in The Thursday Murder Club (2025).
