Biography
Nestor Serrano is an American actor. Born on 5 November 1955 in the Bronx, New York City, he studied computer science at Queens College before joining the drama club and pursuing acting full time at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan.
He began his career in theatre, appearing in off-Broadway productions and on Broadway, before making his film debut in The Money Pit (1986). Serrano is known for supporting roles in films including Bad Boys (1995) as Detective Sanchez, The Day After Tomorrow (2004) as Gomez, Secretariat (2010) as Pancho Martin and Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as a committee general. On television he has appeared in 24 (2005) as Navi Araz, Dexter (2012) as Hector Estrada and Banshee (2016) as Emilio Loera.
