Biography

Oral Norrie Ottey, also credited as Oral Ottey or Norrie Ottey, is a British film and television editor. He has worked on numerous British and international productions since the 1980s, including early credits on series such as Brass (1983) and GBH (1991).

Ottey edited episodes of the ITV crime drama Cracker (1993–1994) and the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers (2001). His other notable editing work includes Game of Thrones (2011–2013), Generation Kill (2008), Dear Frankie (2004) and Plunkett & Macleane (1999). He has received two Primetime Emmy nominations for his editing.

Ottey continues to work on contemporary television series, with recent credits including Wilderness (2023) and Supacell (2024).
