Biography
Frances Parker is a British film and television editor. She trained at Manchester Art College in the mid-1970s and began her career at Ealing Film Studios, progressing from projectionist to assistant editor. Her first screen credit was as assistant editor on the BBC serial Pennies from Heaven. She spent 24 years at the studio before going freelance in the late 1990s.
Parker has edited episodes of major series including three episodes of the miniseries Band of Brothers (2001), for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special. Other credits include 13 episodes of Game of Thrones (2011–2013), The Crown (2019–2020), the feature Life (2017), one episode of Andor (2022) and episodes of House of the Dragon.
