Biography
Tim Porter is a British film and television editor. He has worked on numerous British and American series and films, including Sherlock (2010), Shetland (2013), Broadchurch (2013), The Crown (2016–2019), Finch (2021), House of the Dragon (2022) and Andor (2022).
Porter is best known for his work on Game of Thrones (2011–2019), for which he edited 13 episodes across seasons four to eight. He won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series, for the episodes "Battle of the Bastards" (2016) and "The Long Night" (2019), and received additional Emmy and American Cinema Editors Eddie nominations and awards for his contributions to the series. He also served as co-producer on House of the Dragon.
