Biography
Yan Miles is an English television and film editor. He began his career working for Stanley Long and is a member of the American Cinema Editors (ACE) and the British Film Editors (BFE).
Miles is known for his work on series including Sherlock (2014–2017), for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2014 for the episode "His Last Vow"; The Crown (2016–2020); Game of Thrones (2016); and Andor (2022–2025). He received a further Emmy for Outstanding Picture Editing for a Drama Series in 2025 for the Andor episode "Who Are You?".
His film credits include Sharper (2023), William Tell (2024) and Night Always Comes (2025).
