Biography
Morten Højbjerg is a Danish film and television editor. He graduated from the National Film School of Denmark, where his teachers included Susanne Bier, Thomas Vinterberg, Jørgen Leth and Walter Murch. He began working in the industry at the age of 19 as a runner at a production company in Copenhagen and later moved to London.
Højbjerg has edited or co-edited Danish features including After the Wedding (2006), Melancholia (2011), Nymphomaniac (2013) and The Vanishing (2019). He has also worked on international productions such as The Crown (2016–2020) and Hanna (2019–2020). He received an award recognising him as Denmark’s busiest editor over a ten-year period.
His television credits include episodes of Slow Horses (2022), Andor (2022–2025), Constellation (2024) and Top Boy (2019). He has also edited music videos.
