Biography
Oscar Rene Lozoya II is an editor and director who has worked extensively on the Law & Order franchise and other Dick Wolf productions. He began his career as an intern at NBC Universal after graduating from California State University, Bakersfield in 2009 with a degree in communications and digital media, progressing through roles including editorial assistant, assistant editor and editor on series such as Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Chicago Fire.
Lozoya has directed episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Chicago Fire, FBI and Fire Country. He wrote and directed the feature film How We Met (2016) and the short film The Forgotten Place (2021), the latter of which received multiple festival awards. He is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and is based in Los Angeles.
