Biography

Patrick Fugit is an American actor. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, he began acting in a summer theatre programme at the University of Utah at the age of eleven and appeared in school and regional productions.

Fugit’s breakout role came as William Miller in Cameron Crowe’s Almost Famous (2000). Subsequent film credits include White Oleander (2002), Spun (2002), Saved! (2004), Wristcutters: A Love Story (2006), We Bought a Zoo (2011), Gone Girl (2014), First Man (2018) and Babylon (2022). On television he has played Kyle Barnes in the series Outcast (2016–2018) and Pat Montgomery in the miniseries Love & Death (2023).
